Timeline of AGAPE-HAITI

Since its inception in 2000, AGAPE-HAITI has assisted many young kids by sponsoring them through high schools of their choice. As a result, graduates have attended colleges in prestigious universities in Haiti around the world such as National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan, Earth University in Costa Rica. All these successes are due to your strong and unwavering support.

January 2021: Berthilde and Carla enter Quisqueya Medical school in Port-au-Prince, Marthe Erlie joins the nursing school in Jeremie

August 2020: Graduating class 2019-2020 maintains a 100% passing rate at the State High School final exam

April 2020: Launch of Teaching and AudioConference program on WhatsApp

January 4- March 2020: AGAPE give back community service at Lycee des Jeunes filles: Teaching the underserved little brothers and sisters

September 2019: The AGAPE-HAITI, Inc WhatsApp chat is fully operational

December 2019: Melinessa Phanor , a new enrollee in the program is crowned: little Miss 2019. Miss Sainte Catherine 2019. Jonathan Rochebrun, graduating class 2019 comes back to the Youth learning center for a two days workshop

Summer 2019: graduating class 2018-2019 maintains a 100% passing rate at the State final exam

Winter 2018: Phase 1 of the Youth Learning Center is completed

October 2017: The construction of the Youth Learning center starts

October 2017: Julie Julien, a recent graduate is enrolled in Medical School in Haiti

June 2017: For the first time, 2 former AGAPE-HAITI students: Stephanie Andresol and Berchnaude Vernet participate in the Annual fundraising dinner dance in New York

October 2016: The Youth Learning center is devastated by Hurricane Matthews. Thanks to the generosity of supporters our beneficiaries and their families survive the worst with three months of financial support.

April 2016: Daneska Mauclair a graduate is chosen to be part of the YAP ( Youth Ambassador program)

Fall 2015: our new graduates Vernet Berchnaude enters Montreal university, Asie Paul Eleazar joins medical School in Port-au-Prince, Paul John Sam enters engineering school in Port-au-Prince. A 2012 graduate, lanise Jean Simon obtains her nursing degree in Jeremie, Haiti..

June 2015: Jonathan Rochebrun obtains the highest score a national junior high school exam

Fall 2014: A new project is added: Health coverage for all beneficiaries. Stephanie Andressol , ALUMNI 2010, graduated with a degree of Agronomy from Earth University, Costa –Rica Mydrene Francois, Alumni 2010, graduated with a major in Agronomy and a minor in Journalism, from UNOGA, Universite Nouvelle Grande Anse in Jeremie, Haiti.

June 2014: Lourdjina Denis obtains the highest score at the national junior high school exam

April 2014: 1st AGAPE Community service: give back project at L’ Asile, an assisted living facility in Jeremie

September 2013: Edwidge Michel, 2012 graduate, highest SAT award recipient, is enrolled in the National University of Taiwan in Engineering. His brother Edouard Michel starts his journey to Priesthood, as a seminarist in Haiti.

July 2013: Jackson Michelet and Junior Charles obtain their Medical School diploma from the University of Santiago in Cuba

Martin Luther Senat, Alumni 2012, begins in studies in Business Administration in B.I.T, in Cayes, Haiti

2007: The organization is incorporated in New Jersey as AGAPE HAITI INC2006: Pilot graduation class

2000: A pilot project of 6 tuitions shcolarships starts
