We realized over the years, that, despite covering seven years of tuition for each student, there was yet an obstacle to the realization of our vision of transforming this youth into responsible adults of tomorrow: After high school completion, our students still had to overcome challenges to pursue university studies towards successful careers. Some graduates, resilient and determined were able to find scholarships or family help to reach their stars, enrolling in universities in Haiti, and abroad. Not all were this fortunate. The recent tragedies our country has lived, have made it even more difficult for families of these children to find opportunities and absorb the cost of the university.

In 2017, AGAPE-HAITI reached out to The organization Shani E Duplessy memorial fund. Our organization had been a great admirer of the accomplishments of this organization built on the wings of Shani which yearly offered college tuitions to talented students with economic hardships. We were honored as they accepted to offer a few universities geared scholarships to a few of our graduates Their choice would be based on portfolios including a cover letter, demographics, report cards of the seven years, pictures, an essay, and community service activities reports.

We are proud to count 5 scholarship recipients of Shani E Duplessy Memorial fund.
