Leadership Team

Andre Louis

Joseph Andre Louis, MD

Founder, Board of Directors

As the founder of AGAPE-Haiti Inc. I have spent most part of my adolescence until adulthood, from age 15 to 23 through medical school as a young leader, thinker and organizer in "Union Des Jeunes Grand-Anselais" (UJDCGA), a youth organization in Jeremie.

Our goals were at that time twofold:

  • Promote and help an integral development of youth through formal academic pathway, sports, theater, journalism, social and civic work
  • Help in building the character of the youth as future responsible adults in society.
Both of these goals were accomplished on our own small town from the late 1970 to early 1980 without external support.

Founding AGAPE-Haiti Inc. 20 years later was keeping a promise to always advocate for the youth, as such preparing the leader of tomorrow.

Our vision in AGAPE now is a continuation of the dream that began 20 years ago, but reinforced exponentially with the new possibilities and advancement of the 21st century: "Help every child or adolescent reach his or her God given potentials."

Co-Founder, Board of Directors, Treasurer
As a believer in Mother Teresa and Dr. King's philosophy of serving, I believe the greatest achievement one can reach in life is helping the least fortunate among us. The children of AGAPE have given me the opportunity to realize that goal and I am greatly honored to be a contributor in this great humanitarian cause.
A civil engineer by training, I migrated to the US in the 80’s. I hold a master’s in computer sciences from NJIT and continued to pursue a career as a programmer with Electronic Data Systems (EDS). As an EDS employee, I worked in many projects for AT&T, ABN/AMRO, Goldman Sachs, GM, Citizens Financial Groups, RBS, and Telcordia first as a programmer then as an information security analyst.
Of all these roles, the most rewarding achievements of my life are my contribution to the successful accomplishments of my two boys, and the privilege in helping the children of AGAPE for the past 21 years.

Fauster Labossiere

Executive Director, Board of Directors

I joined the AGAPE family in 2014 as a volunteer. I have a distinguished career as a lead team of territory sales managers in a pharmaceutical company in the Metro NY area. I have managed and successfully led award winning teams in New York, New Jersey, Pensylvania, and Connecticut. My ultimate goal is to help the organization broaden its reach and positive impact on the students of AGAPE-Haiti and the community where they live. My determination is to use my leadership skills and experience to work with the leadership to increase the organization’s success in the coming years especially during these difficult times.

Hugues A. Noel

Board of Directors, Accountant
As many of us, Hugues, is a native of Grand-Anse, Haiti. He left the city of Jeremie at a young age, but has always felt the call to assist in the educational advancement of the younger generation, seeing it as a key to any successful career. For this reason, at the request of AGAPE’s leadership, Hugues joined AGAPE Pro Bono in 2012 to ensure the accuracy of the organization’s financial records. He also advises AGAPE on ways to improve their financial activities, sustain efficiency, and abide to the standards.

Outside of AGAPE-Haiti Inc., Hugues is an accountant and Director of Internal Audit at BronxCare Health System in New York. He hopes to help AGAPE reach its true potential through strategic planning and effective execution.
