AGAPE Students Take on The Great Debates
The CDJ, a Debate Club, implanted in Jeremie in 2008, regrouped students from the 9th to 12th grade and aims at developing their critical thinking and reasoning skills Fostering the art of research. This program teaches students to express themselves, anticipate and resolve conflicts to become the natural leaders of tomorrow. Speakers from Canada and local organizations, involved in Human Rights have hosted seminars for students and judges, delivered in an atmosphere of respect and tolerance. Tournaments are organized between schools and are held live in Jeremie or on the radio.
